Welcome, the Sturman Family would like to thank you for taking the time to look at Fred's Alaska Seafood, LLC website. We are an Alaska family owned and operated web based business started by Steve Sturman and his wife Tesa in 2005. Our company is named after Fred Sturman the patriarch who started the Sturman Family in the Fishing Industry back in 1973. It became a great life for Fred so much so that he has continued fishing ever since. His three children who all grew up in the fishing industry, still participate in the fishing industry today. Steve and other family members manage the family commercial fishing set-net site, while Fred, and his long time fishing buddy Harold, drift on his boat the Shadee Lady. |
